MODEL MILITARY

F-14 Tomcat

Micro-Model

Fully Detailed

This aircraft may be small, but it doesn't lack on details!  The underside shows missiles ready to fire, and the wings do open like they are supposed to!

SR-71Blackbird

Snap Together with Touch

This was a snap!

Cheasy puns aside, this was a snap together model I built to practice the stealth color of paint to make sure I could do it right.  I have two of these, one of my all-time modern day favorites!

WWII U.S.S. Enterprise

Super Micro Model

As in Really Small

This is the same as the aircraft carrier above, however it is much smaller!  Quick build just for fun, neat to have around!

UH-1 Huey

First Helicopter Build

Small But Detailed!

This was definitely a fun one to build and it surprisingly went very fast!  I'm happy with how it came out, and happy to learn more about the UH-1 in the process of building it!  Click below to see the final pics!

F-4F Phantom

Another 1:144 Micro Model

One More Micro Model 1:144th

The F-4 Phantom was the gold standard of jet fighters back in the post Korean War/pre-Dessert Storm era.  This has been flown by many famous pilots including Capt. "Sully" Sullivan.  This is a German decal setup instead of USA.

WWII U.S.S. Enterprise

Micro-Model

Small but Impressive

This aircraft carrier from World War II may be small, but it sure has detail!  Lower levels, multiple aircraft, guns, boats, lifts, it sure has a lot crammed into a small package!

WWII P-38J Lightning

One of My WWII Favorites

First Full-Sized Plane

This was the first full size model aircraft that I've built, and I enjoyed it!  It was missing the ammo feeder for the gun deck in the kit so I made one from scratch, didn't come out too bad.  I really enjoy all of the detail this one has to offer!

F-16 Falcon

Super Micro Model

This is Really Small Too!

This was a fun quick build (mostly did it all in a night).  I use these super micro models to try out new techniques and painting styles as I learn the airbrush better.  It came with a bad decal sheet but didn't turn out too bad!

P-40B Warhawk

Older WWII Mini-Plane

Published Online

This aircraft was published in the online gallery of Fine Scale Magazine!  Check out the Blog for the link to the post if you'd like to see it!  Definitely a fun build, and my first time painting camo!

B-52H Bomber

Modern Power

Also 1:144th Scale

This 1:144th scale seems to be a habit...  Modeled as a B-52B model but has been modified to bring it up to the technology level of the H trim. This is the currently used heavy bomber of the US Air Force and it is quit the aircraft!  Click below for more pictures!

WWII B-17 Bomber

Super Big

Detailed Everything

This model took me almost a year to build and the reason for that is every single interior compartment is hand painted and detailed.  Check out the full gallery to see it for yourself!

B-26 Invader

Quick Build

Old Find!

I actually found this kit in my mom's basement in a zip lock bag.  A few pieces were missing but nothing major, but it was a quick fun build!  I used it to practice panel line shading!

A-10 Warthog

Fighting Machine

The Latest Build!

This is one of my all-time favorite modern airplanes!  The real ones of these are insanely sweet!  Rumor has it that they are working on a new version to replace this when its life is up in 2022!  Check out the gallery for more pics of this finished build!

B-25J Mitchell

Recently Finished

The Most Recent Build

It's about time I build another big airplane!  I've actually had this kit laying around for a couple years now and decided it was about time I actually go and do something with it.  I always enjoy these WWII relics!

YF-23

Experimental Aircraft

Rare One to Find

The YF-23 was Northrop-Gruman's test aircraft to be the next generation of advanced fighter aircraft for the US, it was however beat out by the YF-22 (now known as the F-22 Raptor).  The YF-23 out-performed everything about the YF-22 except for its agility which is why the YF-22 was picked instead.

1/144th Spitfire

Super Small...Again...

Completely Hand Painted

Yep I hand painted it...  Other than the decals of course.  Why?  Because it flew away when I tried to use the airbrush!  The Spitfire was essential to helping Britain maintain air superiority during WWII seeing action all over the battlefront, and even fighting off the notorious V-1 and V-2 flying bombs!
